John Leech is determined to stop the Labour government making any more cuts to crucial services in our area

John Leech MP is asking for local peoples' views and experiences of health services in the biggest consultation of its kind ever seen in south Manchester
The survey will be sent out to nearly 70,000 people across Withington, Chorlton, Didsbury, Fallowfield, Burnage, Ladybarn and Old Moat.
'Health professionals do a fantastic job, but there are many underlying pressures on our doctors and nurses today. The government has introduced far too many targets and bureaucracy while removing local accountability,' John Leech MP said.
'I am keen to recognise the strengths of the NHS, but also to see where we are falling short both locally and on a national level,' he continued.
'The closure of A & E facilities at Withington Hospital was a major blow which means many people have to travel miles for emergency care. I'm determined to stop the Labour government making any more cuts to crucial services in our area.'
