Manchester MP condemns Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust in support of nurse

Karen Reissmann felt that proposed changes to services would not benefit patients

MP for Manchester Withington, John Leech, has proposed a Parliamentary Motion in support of sacked senior practitioner nurse, Karen Reissmann.

John Leech MP stated:

'Karen Reissmann was dismissed purely for speaking out about proposed changes to the services within Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust which she and her colleagues feared would not benefit the patients.

'Karen Reissmann must be reinstated immediately. I believe that Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust has acted unjustifiably and this must be recognised.'
