Local restaurateurs, Azad Manzil on Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton, have finished fourth in a national curry competition.

The restaurant, nominated by John Leech MP for the Tilda Tiffin Cup as part of the Festival of Curry at the House of Commons, faced nine other restaurants in the final.

"The Azad Manzil restaurant has done so well to reach the final, let alone to finish fourth. The staff have done the north west and Manchester very proud," John Leech MP said.
